Two new versions, without the chronograph complications, join the collection of the iconic Navitimer model. In addition to the classic slot machine, you can also choose a variant with a second time zone.
You will think Navitimer and the image of an iconic chronograph will certainly come to your mind – one of the most recognizable watches in the entire history of watchmaking. It appeared in the world in 1952 and created a certain canon with its details. A canon so characteristic that even when we exclude the chronograph from Navitimer’s design, the watch still evokes associations with this collection. The proof is the two new models in the collection, without a stopwatch. By the way, this is another chord in the celebration of the manufacture’s 140th birthday.
Navitimer 41
The range of new Navitimer models – available in versions without and with GMT complication – has many common features. The cases measure 41 mm in diameter and are made of satin-finished and polished steel, available in bi-color or optional rose gold. Interestingly, the thickness of the casing is the same, amounting to a respectable 11.65 mm. The cases are paired with either an elegant alligator leather strap or a distinctive bracelet with diagonal links.
By removing the stopwatch (and therefore specific elements from the dial design), Replica Breitling left the iconic slide rule, which is operated by a serrated, rotating bezel crowning the case. It is the leading element of the composition, which also retains a lot of elegance and has an interesting set of colors.
Navitimer Automatic 41 is offered with a blue, green or light blue (ice-blue) steel dial and a cream dial for bi-color and gold models. In each option, the surface is decorated with applied indices and the brand logo, and the time is measured by three simple hands, with a seconds hand ending with a red detail.
Navitimer GMT 41 is available in black, silver or light blue (ice-blue) colors in steel cases, and green in the rose gold variant. A 24-hour scale and a dedicated GMT hand with a red arrowhead have been added to the elements present in the Automatic option. The set of indications is also complemented by a date window in the form of a square window at 6 o’clock.
The Breitling Navitimer Automatic 41 is powered by an automatic caliber 17 with a 38-hour power reserve. The GMT version also features an automatic winding caliber 32, with a reserve extended to 42 hours.
Availability and price
All versions of the latest Navitimer 41 are included in the regular collection. Prices will start from PLN 23,900 for the Automatic 41 model on a strap and end at PLN 157,500 for the Automatic GMT 41 in gold with a gold bracelet. GMT in steel costs PLN 25,400.
